Today it's Derbyshire p.145, Désire Leroy and Julie Palmyre Van Marcke-Robert Still Life, Fruit and Flowers 1866 Royal Crown Derby Museum Trust. It is clear from this and this that both women were professional painters. And wonderful gardeners. Inspired by Diana Athill, who grows blue morning glory from seed every year, we are trying our best, but the seedlings that flourished indoors in pots are unfortunately not doing so well in the garden.
